About the artist
Rebecca Eddison is an artist painting figurative, landscape, and still-life works in oil and watercolour. She sees art as comfort for the soul, exploring how colour stirs emotion and nostalgia. With a spirited joie de vivre and a deep love of travel, she paints to bring warmth, colour, and joy into the home—each piece a reminder to savour life’s simple pleasures, embrace nature, and keep dreaming of new adventures.
Her creative process is shaped by travel, with plein air painting, photography, and sketchbooks inspiring much of her studio work. She collects patterned textiles and aged heirlooms—objects that hold echoes of time and place—to incorporate into her paintings. With a background in Interior Design, she is drawn to colour theory and its ability to transform both space and mood, layering hues with expressive brushwork to invite the viewer to step inside and discover their own stories within.
