Terms of service

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering. Placing your order/paying your deposit will indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Estimates & Deposits:

Please note that quotes are valid for a period of 7 days. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required before any custom design or illustration work will be carried out to reserve time in my schedule. It is the policy of Rebecca Eddison that the balance be paid in full for the design work, before any development work begins. Further invoices for the project must be paid in full before printing commences.

CANCELLATIONS/ REFUNDS
I am a small business and as all prints and products are made to order and, in most cases, cannot be resold, all sales are final and non-refundable 7 days after delivery. All purchases of original artworks and commissions are non-refundable. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact me.

As a standard policy we only make refunds and exchanges if goods are faulty.

If your wedding stationery is deemed to be faulty on the part of Rebecca Eddison we will be happy to correct or replace your stationery with the same, or, if it is not possible to resupply your stationery with the same, we will offer an alternative or similar replacement. Rebecca Eddison will only offer a full refund if the order is faulty in its entirety. Please note that this does not apply to commissioned artworks. No refund on commissioned artwork where the work has already been started or completed.

All prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment Options
Via website using Stripe payment methods of ApplePay, GooglePay, Afterpay, Credit Cards, or PayPal.

Late payments 

Rebecca Eddison reserves the right to postpone the project to my next availability or cancel a project, without refund of previous payments, if a payment is late or a client fails to provide necessary information/approval by a determined date. Please note this may increase the project cost to current rates if applicable.

Cancellation:

Should an order be cancelled, I must be paid in full for any work that is either in progress or completed. If the artwork has been completed at final stage one hundred percent of the total fee is due within 7 days despite cancellation or postponement.

Order Process

I try my best to keep the ordering process streamlined and easy for you. But please understand delays in providing information or communicating about your order may result in timeframes being extended.

I recommend you order at least an extra 15-20% of your total invitations for ‘second rounds’ and last minute guests. (So if you need 50 invites you need to order 55-60 invites) Once approved and sent for production I cannot add to your order without incurring the minimum fees again. 

Please ensure that you provide us with the correct spelling, times and dates for your events as this is what will be used to create your first version and further revisions may delay your order and incur extra fees.

• I provide templates in a range of formats for you to fill in with details for guest addressing for print and calligraphy, place cards, seating charts, or any other item that requires you to provide your guest details, please provide the information in the exact format provided. Not doing so will result in $45 fee for formatting labour. 

TURN AROUND - Not including shipping times
Predesigned Collection orders - 2-4 weeks. (Longer for foiling or special finishes) 

Custom wedding invitations orders - 3-6 weeks (Longer for foiling or special finishes)

On-the-day stationery orders - 3-4 weeks (Longer for foiling or special finishes) (Keep in mind if yours is a destination wedding you may need to have the items sooner than your wedding date)

Sometimes in peak times our turnaround time can be 6-8 weeks. Please take note of this when ordering (If longer wait times are expected it will clearly note it on the website and etsy.)

PLEASE BOOK to have your wedding stationery created by me as early as possible, I book up very quickly and would hate for you to miss out. For custom designs a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required. 

Turn-around times are affected if you fail to provide information as promptly as possible, and respond to proofs and emails.

• APPROVAL
  Custom design - will require total balanced paid before printing.
  
  Online store -  Once you have approved your design from (up to 2 rounds of changes) you will need to approve the PDF proof of your invitation via email and then we will go to print. Please ensure you catch and relay all changes you require with the first proof whenever possible. (Extra rounds of revisions, however small, will be charged at $20 per time)

ERRORS
Rebecca Eddison will check your items before print, but it is recommended you ask a friend or family member to check your proofs over with you too, take your time and check every detail.. Rebecca Eddison cannot be held responsible for ANY typing errors noticed after the proofs have been approved and printed.
Any amendments after approval for printing will incur an extra charge.
Please notify us immediately if you notice any errors throughout your stationery once you have received it. If there are any errors after proof has been approved that are different from your approved artwork, we will correct your order free of charge. (PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DAY + DATE - it is the simple things that can get overlooked)

Colours may display differently from screen to print, you must be aware of this when ordering your stationery. I do not re-print stationery if the colours print differently to the colour you had in mind, unless it is the fault of the production process.

STOCK AVAILABILITY
There might be occasions when our printery temporarily exhausts the stock you've selected. While they aim to replenish it promptly, there could be instances where it doesn't align with your deadline. Rest assured, if this happens, we'll reach out to you to explore alternative options that are a fine replacement. 

LOSS OR DAMAGE
Rebecca Eddison cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage in transit once the order has been dispatched. Extra cover from Sendle/Australia post can be purchased by the client for an additional fee, please let me know in advance if you would like this option. We will take the utmost of care to ensure safe and appropriate packaging and delivery methods are used.

Marketing and Social Media

• We reserve the right to post photography, images or mock ups of work we have created for you on any marketing channel including our website, printed media or other digital format (e.g. social media). If you do not want your stationery to be used in this way please let us know as you have placed your order. Wedding invitations and stationery will only ever be posted after the wedding date. 

HANDMADE PAPER

Handmade paper is produced one sheet at a time, so no two sheets are the same and every sheet is unique in its own way. Every sheet will vary slightly in size, shape, texture and may appear imperfect, but these unique qualities is what makes handmade paper so special and beautiful. Please note handmade envelopes do not come with the glue usual to envelopes for sealing so you will need to invest in double sided tape, or pay for assembly by Rebecca Eddison. For this reason and the delicate nature of the envelopes I do not recommend posting them, they are best used as an additional touch.

CALLIGRAPHY ON ENVELOPES

Each envelope is a single work of art, hand addressed envelopes will vary from that of printed addresses in a perfectly imperfect natural way. Each address will vary depending on the letters, length of names, street names, city and state lengths and visually appear different from one another when compared. Addresses with 4-5 lines of text will look different from those with fewer. Please have this expectation set when ordering hand calligraphy.

CALLIGRAPHY AND THE POST

The post office reads envelopes electronically. Due to the nature of calligraphy, some addresses or calligraphy styles will be more or less difficult to read so will need to be hand sorted at the post office, this is the nature with any hand written address and usually no issue. Rebecca Eddison is not responsible for resending, reprinting or reimbursing for invitations or addresses that do not make it to their intended address.

WAX SEALS AND THE POST

Rebecca Eddison uses a range of biodegradable wax seals these are intended for sealing invitations not envelopes. The envelope will need to be sent as a large envelope to get through the machines which may incur extra charges at the Post Office. Rebecca Eddison is not responsible for any damage wax seals and invitations that occur during transit.

Rebecca Eddison uses wax seals made from flexible wax and when it is properly placed onto the envelope, it is capable of bending with the envelope without cracking. The envelope will need to be sent as a large envelope to get through the machines which may incur extra charges at the Post Office. Rebecca Eddison is not responsible for any damage wax seals and invitations that occur during transit.

Wear & Tear:

Berry & Peg accepts no responsibility for the effect of ageing and wear & tear on the materials used. All original illustrations use archival quality ink.

Our Working Relationship

We will work together to create something beautiful. The nature of our working relationship will be a partnership, and as such I will treat you with respect. In return I shall expect to be treated with respect throughout the entire process and will not tolerate any kind of bullying or abuse, verbal or written. If this happens, I reserve the right to terminate your contract and any design work undertaken, up to that point, must be paid for in full, there will be no refund.

Copyright:

All designs and illustrations are the copyright and property of Rebecca Eddison. Neither you, nor a third party, may copy any part of the design or reproduce it in any way, without permission of Rebecca Eddison.

It is your responsibility to obtain permission for any copyright material, for example portraits, hymns or poems that are to feature in your stationery.

Copyright of all illustration, artwork and/or design remains with Rebecca Eddison unless otherwise agreed. Rebecca Eddison retains the right to use the work for self promotion, including placement in portfolio and online after the date of the wedding.

Artwork / invitation / design usage must be strictly limited to agreed purpose unless otherwise agreed with an additional fee negotiated. Please contact us if you would like to enquire about buyout fees.

The work must not be modified, changed or altered in any way without prior written consent from Rebecca Eddison.
