A cluster of sunlit lemons rests in a vintage green bowl, dappled shadows fall across the scene from the kitchen window.  The bowl’s classic pattern grounds the piece in tradition, while the lemons add freshness and light.

Make a kitchen feel lived in and loved. The balance of soft shadow and bright citrus creates a gentle rhythm for the eye, offering both calm and cheer. Ideal for kitchens, dining spaces, or anywhere that could use a lift of colour, this painting celebrates the beauty of everyday rituals and the joy found in small, sunlit details.

About the artist

I'm Rebecca Eddison, an artist finding joy in the authentic textures of oil and watercolour. I capture the world through figurative, landscape, and still-life paintings. Practising art as a warm hug for the soul—it’s all about how colour can tickle emotions and stir up delightful nostalgia in all of us.

Armed with a spirited joie de vivre and an unquenchable thirst for travel, I paint not just to decorate, but to sprinkle moments of pause, colour, and joyous conversation into your home.

My creative journey is fueled by travel, plein air painting, photography, and countless sketchbooks filled with fleeting inspirations. I have a magpie-like obsession with patterned textiles and aged heirlooms, those charming objects with a story to tell, which often find their way into my compositions.

With a background in Interior Design, I can't resist the allure of colour theory. I layer hues with expressive brushwork, exploring its ability to transform the mood.

Think of each piece as a little reminder to savour life’s simple pleasures, embrace nature, and pat yourself on the back for making your home brighter.
