Celebrate the understated elegance of the White Cypress Pine Tree with this hand-illustrated fine art print. It’s serene, earthy, and guaranteed not to drop needles on your floor. It’s been standing tall and dignified in the dry bush for centuries, this spunky little number has made itself useful in all sorts of ways—timber, perfume, even as a natural insect repellent.

I created this artwork for nature nerds, little learners, big-hearted teachers, and plant killers. It’s equal parts pretty and practical—a pine tree art print that adds character to your wall and some serious “Ooh, what tree is that?” cred to your home.

Frame it solo, or build your own Australian bushland gallery with others in the series. No watering required. Just a hammer.

This art print features the White Cypress Pine tree and information about it, including its Latin botanical name, and nearby, you’ll find thoughtful notes about the cultural significance of this resilient native. The White Cypress Pine, beloved for its termite-resistant timber and spicy scent, has long played a vital role in the lives and traditions of First Nations peoples across inland Australia. Used for tools, medicine, shelter, and ceremony, it’s a tree that tells many stories if we’re quiet enough to listen.
Where possible, I’ve included traditional names (remember, there are more than 200 Indigenous languages across this vast country) and insights gathered from published sources that respectfully share the teachings of Australia’s First Peoples.
These prints do more than decorate. They gently nudge us to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with nature, with history, with the layered beauty of our own backyard.
